Update your device
Not all devices support emoji out of the box, so you have to update them in order to gain that support. Even if your device is up to date, your device still might not support some emoji as not all devices do.
Your manufacturer may be bringing support to your device in the future.

How to update on Android, TouchWiz, Samsung Experience and One UI
For TouchWiz, Samsung Experience, and One UI, see Samsung's instructions here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077582/
To update your Android device, go to Settings > System > System update on newer versions of Android, or Settings > About Phone/Tablet > Software/System Update on older versions of Android. If not, then go to Settings > Software Update or a setting similar to that.
If your device is up to date, then your device may have reached the end of it's support, or the update hasn't reached your device yet. If you would like, you can install a custom ROM on your device. Note: In most cases, doing so will void any warranty on your device. Also, Renervate is not responsible to any issues your device may experience. Google "How to install custom ROM on (device model number)". We strongly recommend following all instructions carefully.

How to update on Windows
Renervate provides a font created by Microsoft that originated from Windows 10 that you will need to update on your device, Segoe UI Symbol. Download it here, open it, then install it. This is only necessary if you're running Windows 7 and below.
To update Windows itself, view Microsoft's instructions here.

How to update on iOS and iPadOS
Instructions are also provided on the Apple support page >.
Go to Settings > General > Software Update. Tap Download and Install if an update is available, or tap Install if it's already downloaded. If the update is iOS 6, then that update will bring emoji support. If it is above iOS 6, emoji are already supported, and need to be enabled. (Only for an OS below iOS 7: Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard > Emoji, then tap the globe icon on the keyboard to view them)
If you do not see an update, unfortunately you can not use emoji. Your device has reached the end of its support life. You must upgrade your device for continued software updates.
