Now's never been a better time to be a Mint Mobile customer. Along with other carriers taking steps to make the coronavirus situation easier for everyone, Mint Mobile just went right at it and decided to give customers free unlimited data for all until April 14th.
But there's a catch... of course there's a catch.

Last update: 4/14/2019 at 12:23 AM CST (this story was previous live). Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp (all social media networks Facebook does own) experienced it's second outage this year worldwide for users after Facebook's biggest outage in it's history on March 13th, 2019. The outage occurred for more than 2 hours and this report was updated live. Things were live again around 9:45 AM for all services.
According to users reporting the outage on downdetector.com, this is what was down for Facebook users that reported the problem...
Bug? Glitch? We may never know why. These were not re-posted archives. In a (not so interesting but still pretty interesting) discovery going across Instagram, Instagram's Stories had actually showed longer than 24 hours on everybody's stories. This didn't seem to be a problem for a specific set of profiles.
While this isn't a security issue as this is of course posted to a public story (and people outside of the people you accepted to follow you still couldn't see if your account is set to private) this still has been an interesting discovery. Instagram Stories have never been seen to show longer than 24 hours. This is also the case with Snapchat, but temporarily (and only temporarily, this error has been fixed by Instagram) some stories have been showing longer than 24 hours. We couldn't pinpoint how long after the 24 hours you could view the story as it only showed "1d", but of course, has been shown for longer than that. You can see in the picture above, tech YouTubers on Instagram @eccentech and @ijustine show 1d on their stories. Buying myself a Galaxy Tab S4 (since Samsung basically owns the entire the whole Android-powered tablet space) I've found myself using some pretty nice apps for it. Facebook for social media, KineMaster for pro class video editing, Samsung Internet for browsing, Samsung Notes for notetaking, and more, but then there's Spotify... basically a stretched out phone app with some optimization for a tablet. It's the same story for Apple's iPad's, which is frustrating.
In the latest update of SmartThings, the intro video shows us a glimpse of Samsung's Bixby-powered smart speaker. So we took a screenshot.
Both Samsung and Apple are getting reports left and right saying their phones aren't selling well, and, at least for Samsung, it may have initially been selling bad, but it isn't anymore.
Sticking your head in books, constantly doing projects, and being stressed out the whole time while being in debt afterwards doesn't mean you'll be successful.
We all know about Facebook's hidious emoji collection... but in some way (and we don't know how) they managed to "improve" it by making it a lot worse than it has been before. Facebook... stop touching my emoji. You're breaking something that wasn't broken in the first place.
